The Fair Tower stood at the feet of the TV tower in Brasilia, where work on weekends since 1970. Despite what some newspapers insist, the fair tower has everything a good fair worth its salt should have. There you can sample delicacies as lovely pastel with sugarcane juice, tamales and even Bahian food, for amounts módicas.

At the fair, you can find craft stalls, furniture (very cute, tell by the way), bijuoterias and clothes, among other things. The clothing style tie-dye, and other light fabrics made of cotton or colored, blend the profusion of wooden fittings and seeds, some made from metal and are in accordance with those responsible for the nickname hippie fair that the fair tower won.

The fair is an important part of the Tower of childhood memories. Go fly a kite there, buy a weathervane, doll clothes or furniture miniatures that eventually served to those same dolls is conjugated to other stages of life, like the one that goes to the market to buy clothes and accessories that will help to mark their identity as a teenager in Brasilia. And do not stop there. You can always go there to buy furniture for the home, or back to your own childhood days going to buy toys for their children, nephews or sons of dear friends. The Fair Tower crosses generations and life history of those who, like me, are children of this capital.
